It’s not too late to register for our Labor Day Ladies Conference being held at Lake Hamilton Bible Camp in Hot Springs National Park, AR. This event is taking place on Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 6th. You will find all the information on our Lake Hamilton Bible Camp website.
We pray you will find time to read the August edition of our newsletter which also can be found on our website.
In this issue we share a bit of history about the ministry of Lake Hamilton Bible Camp and how God miraculously led the founders, Glen & Erma Miller, to this property fifty-four (54) years ago as of this August (2026).
God has been so faithful! Glen and Erma have since gone on to be with the Lord. Erma had stated in the article we shared, “We concluded that He had led us this far, and we knew what was begun, He was able to complete”. God continues today to “complete” what He started. We invite you to listen to their entire testimony of The Arkansas Story to capture the fullness of the miracle of the founding and establishment of Lake Hamilton Bible Camp.
SOME OF OUR CURRENT NEEDS
We are still in need of donations to replace two 80 gallon commercial water storage tanks for the main building.
We are in need of additional donations for water proofing and repairs to the walls in the lower part of the cabin building.
We are accepting donations for electrical and plumbing needs including labor and materials. (If interested, call to discuss details)
There is an urgent need for tree removal on the property line for the safety of the camp ground and neighboring home owners. Tradesmen doing the work must be bonded and insured.
The office needs two new PC computers with hardware not older than 2025, replacing one that is running Windows XP Pro Version 2002 and another that is older than Windows 10. We are thankful for the longevity of these computers.
The parsonage and main building both need new washing machines. These mainly function for bedding which includes sheets, towels, blankets, etc. We prefer top loaders with an agitator and a brand history that is known to last.
We always have a need for carpenters and maintenance people with a spirit of excellence.
Experienced media technician to work with sound board installation and video recording.
Quarterly property, liability, and ministry insurance - approximately $8,000.00
We thank God for all who faithfully pray and contribute financial support to Lake Hamilton Bible Camp. We pray Ephesians 3:14-19 over you and your family. Lake Hamilton Bible Camp is a registered 501-C Non-Profit Organization.
We are privileged to share this Back to School Prayer for children and grandchildren that our minister friend, Carla Butaud shared with us. This is not one of those “one and done” prayers. Consider praying it often. And those who don’t have children or grandchildren in school, apply it to those the Holy Spirit brings to mind. God knows the needs our children face in this world!
A prayer for children and grandchildren based on Mt 18:19-20, Jesus said, Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
“Father, in the name of Jesus, as the Israelites applied the blood of the sacrificial lamb (Ex 12:22-23) to their doorposts for protection against the destroyer, I cover every school across America with Your precious blood for protection from the destroyer. I cover the teachers, those in administration, the bus drivers, the cafeteria workers, the nurses, the coaches, the janitors, every student, volunteer workers, and everyone else having to do with our children and grandchildren. We thank You for giving us POWER over ALL the power of the enemy that NOTHING, by any means, shall bring hurt (Lk 10:19). So, Satan, this day...we bind you, rebuke you, and render you POWERLESS over all that we have mentioned. We assign mighty, warring angels to stand around every school, shoulder-to-shoulder, that NO EVIL penetrate. We bind the spirits of death and destruction, accidents, infirmities, and injuries. We bind the antichrist spirit in--and the strongman over-- the educational system, and we loose the Spirit if God into every school--even in all the colleges across America (Mt 16:19; Mt 18:18).
Father, we ask You to send Your Holy Spirit and ministering angels to all who don’t know You...to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, to turn their lives from the power of Satan unto You, that they might receive forgiveness of sins and share in the Salvation and inheritance of the Saints who have faith in You (Acts 26:18).
We thank You, Father, that You have not left us defenseless, but You have equipped us in all things ways (2 Tim 3:16-17; Heb 13:20-21).
We thank You, Father, for Your Word in Phil 4:6-7, that instructs us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving...to let our requests be made known unto You. And, that if we do this, we will have PEACE that is beyond all understanding and that PEACE will keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Thank You for that PEACE, Lord. Amen, and Amen.”
